Candidate Examination Conduct and Security Requirements
Information on the Candidate Examination Agreement required prior to testing.
Before beginning a Biotility credentialing examination, candidates are required to review and accept a Candidate Examination Agreement. The agreement is presented as part of the examination process and must be accepted before the candidate can begin testing.
No action is required before exam day. Candidates should review the requirements below in advance and contact their Exam Site or Biotility with any questions before testing.
Examination Integrity
Candidates are expected to complete the examination independently and protect the confidentiality and security of examination content before, during, and after testing.
- Do not give or receive unauthorized assistance during the examination.
- Do not access unauthorized references, websites, applications, artificial intelligence (AI) tools, devices, or other resources during the examination.
- Do not copy, photograph, record, screenshot, download, post, share, reproduce, retain, or disclose examination content in any form.
- Do not discuss or share specific examination questions or other secure examination content with another person.
- Do not use examination content obtained through unauthorized or compromised means to prepare for an examination.
Examination Rules
Candidates are expected to complete the examination independently and protect the confidentiality and security of examination content before, during, and after testing.
- Follow instructions provided by Biotility and authorized examination personnel.
- Follow the requirements for the examination and testing method, including requirements for permitted and prohibited items.
- Communicate with others during the examination only when permitted by examination procedures.
- Follow required procedures for leaving and re-entering the testing environment.
- Do not attempt to access the examination before being authorized to begin.
- Accessing a prohibited item after the examination has begun may result in dismissal from the testing session and documentation of the event.
Examination Security
- Protect account credentials. Do not share usernames or passwords or allow another person to access an examination using your account.
- Do not attempt to bypass, disable, interfere with, or circumvent examination security controls.
- Do not remove, retain, or attempt to obtain secure examination content or materials.
- Comply promptly with instructions from authorized examination personnel intended to protect examination security.
Violations and Consequences
Suspected or observed violations may be documented and reviewed by Biotility. Depending on the circumstances and applicable policies, Biotility may take action affecting a candidate’s examination, score, credential, or eligibility to participate in future Biotility examinations or credentialing activities.
Examination security violations involving unauthorized access, disclosure, reproduction, retention, or distribution of secure examination content may result in additional action as permitted by applicable policy or law.
Exam Site personnel document observed behavior and actions taken. Biotility determines examination and credentialing consequences.
Digital Agreement on Exam Day
At the time of testing, candidates will be presented with the digital Candidate Examination Agreement and asked to acknowledge and accept the applicable requirements before beginning the examination. Candidates who do not accept the agreement will not be permitted to begin testing.
